Behemoth announces North American tour with Myrkur and plans to play 'The Satanist' in its entirety; "The Congregation" exhibition to appear at all dates

Polish death/black metal outfit Behemoth has announced their return to North America this spring with a special tour, featuring Myrkur as support. With plans to play their latest album, The Satanist, in its entirety, this is one Behemoth show not to be missed! A limited number of premium ticketing packages that include a commemorative laminate, meet and greet with the band, 18" x 24" poster set (3 posters), 42" x 42" wall flag, and general admission ticket are available now at www.showstubs.com/behemoth. In addition to the concert, fans will also have the chance to view "The Congregation" exhibition at each venue. Dubbed "a symbiosis of Behemoth and Toxic Vision", the display showcases the collaboration between the two parties. Over the years, the artist behind Toxic Vision (Sharon Toxic) has worked closely with the band to create their stage outfits, music videos, stage/photo props and more. "The Congregation" is a new experience and built solely for this tour. 

Behemoth front-man Nergal comments: "We've always pushed ourselves very hard trying to reach the highest peaks of artistic creativity. This time around we are not only coming back to perform 'The Satanist' in its entirety, but are also bringing along a collaboration that's unheard of! CANNIBAL CORPSE and BEHEMOTH confirm co-headline winter tour 2015

Two of the most prominent bands in the history of death metal are teaming up to take North America in 2015! Cannibal Corpse and Behemoth will join forces beginning on January 28th in New Orleans, LA at the House of Blues. Both bands are touring in support of their most recent and massively successful albums. Cannibal Corpse released their thirteenth album, "A Skeletal Domain," on September 16th and debuted at #32 on the Billboard Top 200. Behemoth's critically-applauded tenth album, "The Satanist," entered the Billboard Top 200 at #34 after its release on February 4th of this year.

Combining both bands' headlining sets into one touring package promises to make this the must see metal tour of 2015. Sweden's Aeon released "Aeons Black" in 2012 via Metal Blade Records and toured as part of the Summer Slaughter Tour in 2013. This will be the band's first time returning to North America since. Guitarist Zeb Nilsson comments: "We're back again! And this time with the most brutal line up possible. With Cannibal Corpse, Behemoth, Aeon and Tribulation there is no reason to hesitate if you like death metal. This will probably be the number one death metal show for a long time."

Tribulation, who also hails from Sweden, released the critically acclaimed and lengthy 75-minute "The Formulas of Death," in 2013 on Invictus Productions.

Behemoth "The Polish Satanist Tour" concludes

Behemoth has just finished touring their home country of Poland. Eight of the nine shows went flawlessly and were massively attended (mostly sold out!). One show in Poznan was cancelled due to political and religious agitations. The band promises to come back as soon as they can.

Nergal, outspoken Behemoth frontman comments, "We are seriously worn out. Why? We gave our very fuckin' best to deliver the highest quality performance during these 8 shows. I dare to say that this band has never been in a better shape. On every possible level we reached our top… now let us enjoy the view for a moment. All shows went absolutely brilliantly and for many reasons "The Satanist tour" has already earned its place as a massive historical achievement for Behemoth! We are taking few weeks off now before flying to South America and South Africa in November/December. In the meantime, we are planning seriously thrilling surprises for you… just wait and see!"

Behemoth's "The Satanist" debuted at #1 during its week of release in Poland. The album also debuted at #34 on the Billboard Top 200 charts in the US, 21 spots higher than the band's previous album, "Evangelion."

BEHEMOTH, Poland's preeminent metal export, will be releasing a new album in 2013. En route to releasing their tenth studio album, BEHEMOTH will perform throughout North America as part of the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival. The LA Weekly heralded BEHEMOTH as "one of the most compelling live presences in metal" while maintaining the year-and-a-half hiatus (due to Nergal's battle with leukemia) served only to elevate the band's intensity, which North American fans most recently experiend during 2012's Decibel Magazine Tour. BEHEMOTH's latest full length album, Evangelion, achieved gold status in Poland and debuted at #56 on the Billboard Top 200 Charts in the US upon its release in 2009.
