Metal Blade TV launches live video from "Hellfest 2015", featuring Cannibal Corpse, Armored Saint, Ensiferum, Twitching Tongues, as well as exclusive interviews with host Don Jamieson

Last June, the premier, annual metal festival in France - "Hellfest" - boasted three day's worth of shows from some of the best acts in the scene. For the first time, Metal Blade TV was present at the fest, ready to capture live performances from the label's artists, as well as exclusive interviews with host Don Jamieson. Jim Florentine and Don Jamieson bring you Terrorizing Telemarketers Volume 6!

Jim Florentine and Don Jamieson have returned for the sixth installment of Terrorizing Telemarketers. The album features 17 cringe-worthy cuts that leave telemarketers, insurance agents, loan officers, and more wrestling with the frustration of unknowingly speaking with two of comedy's masters of prank calls. Terrorizing Telemarketers Volume 6 will be available digitally on December 4th via Metal Blade Records. CDs will be available exclusively at both comedians' live performances.

Jim Florentine's resume includes the massively successfully Comedy Central series "Crank Yankers," where he voiced the popular characters Bobby Fletcher and Special Ed. Don Jamieson and Florentine both earned Emmy Awards during their stint as writers/performers for HBO's "Inside the NFL".

Review - Don Jamieson "Hell Bent For Laughter" (Metal Blade)

Don Jamieson's second comedy release is scheduled to drop on March 18th via Metal Blade. Once again Don has delivered some solid metal comedy. If you don't know metal you probably won't get most of the jokes, but if you are a longtime metal fan all will make sense and you will enjoy the bulk of this release. Those who have seen Don on That Metal Show will have a good idea of what to expect but unlike on cable Don just lets it fly. 

Don Jamieson comments: "I'm really pumped to unleash my second stand-up comedy CD, 'Hell Bent For Laughter,'on the masses. In this day and age of "fake outrage," Metal Blade never asked me to tone it down or soften anything up. So I didn't."

With track names like "Halford, Ozzy and Kiss" and "Bad Dates, Dead Cats & Terrorist Ants" I think you get a general idea of what you are in for. You have to admire the guy. Doing metal comedy does tend to limit your audience and there's only a handful of guys out there with the balls to stick to their guns and Jamieson is one of them. Recorded in December of 2013 in the same venue as his previous release I think it's a warts and all honest representation of Don's stand up act.

My favorite moment? Probably when he talks about wishing Storage Wars was on back in the eighties and someone bidding on the locker that GNR was living in.
