VANHELGD Signs with Pulverised Records

From the mortified gallows of Mjölby, Sweden, Death Metal fiends VANHELGD, are set to make a return to action with their first offering of new material after a two-year absence.

Relentless and uncompromising, with an obscurely dark vibe, VANHELGD came on to the scene with their debut full-length Cult Of Lazarus in 2008. Three years later. the band unleashed the intensely devastating Church Of Death. After a period of dormancy,  VANHELGD will strike back with a vengeance with the release of a new record that promises to be a Death/Doom supreme beast.

VANHELGD have recently completed writing material for the upcoming record and are scheduled to enter the studio next month. The band recorded a short video clip of themselves rehearsing a new track off the new album, and can be seen at this location.

"VANHELGD are very pleased to sign a deal with Pulverised for our next, yet untitled, album. The journey continues along the eerie paths we explored on 'Church Of Death,' but the songs seem somewhat darker this time," states VANHELGD frontman and guitarist  Mattias Frisk. "The writing process has been much more focused to our rehearsals this time with everyone involved, trying to make the absolutely best out of every song and not letting anything pass unnoticed. A lot of ideas have been thrown away, leaving us with eight strong tracks drenched in death, destruction and pure malevolence. The recording will start in November 2013 and will be the first with our new bass player Jonas Albrektsson."

Pulverised Records label manager Roy Yeo also commented on the new signing: "We took notice on VANHELGD when they released 'Church Of Death' and back then, there was already something about VANHELGD that we enjoyed. Perhaps it was a little of the sorrow vibe ala early At The Gates / Paradise Lost that was hidden beneath all that filthy Death Metal that was on 'Church Of Death,' so we immediately agreed on releasing their upcoming album when the band approached us. We believe that for a band such as VENHELGD, their material can only get stronger with each release and further solidify the signature sound that they already possessed."

DENIAL Signs With Pulverised Records

The catacombs are now once again unearthed; the Mexican barbarous Death Metallers DENIAL has been announced as the newest addition to the Pulverised Records roster!

In the four years since the band's debut full-length record Catacombs Of The Grotesque was released to critical acclaim, DENIAL has received a decent underground following with their trademark gargantuan, down-tuned guitars and unorthodox morbid Death Metal torment, leaving only a blood trail and decimating everything in its path. DENIAL is currently in the midst of recording two new tracks for a 7" EP release, after which the band will fully focus on writing brand new material for the upcoming second full-length album.

In an official statement, the band commented, "We are proud to have always worked with professional labels and real supporters. With Pulverised Records, we now step into a cavernous deep, bestowing us with more flesh and blood to perform ghastly and unaltered invocations to those who have been lost for centuries."

Pulverised Records label manager Roy Yeo added, "Having heard the Catacombs Of The Grotesque album a couple of years back, we knew DENIAL had something really special going on. Their rancid stench of Death Metal was something that we felt would belong perfectly in our niche roster. We are extremely ecstatic to have sealed the new album deal with them, and we cannot wait to hear more atrocity from DENIAL!"

ZOMBIEFICATION's At the Caves of Eternal Out Now North America

Mexican corpse-walkers ZOMBIEFICATION have their second full-length album, At the Caves of Eternal, today in North America via Pulverised Records.

This putrid masterpiece was recorded at Revolution Studios with Jesús Bravo handling engineering duties and then sent to Necromorbus Studios in Sweden (Watain, Demonical, Desultory, etc) for mixing and mastering under the helm of Tore Stjerna. At the Caves of Eternal comes on the heels of last year's five-song EP, Reaper's Consecration.

To stream At the Caves of Eternal in full and purchase a digital download of the album, visit pulverised.bandcamp.com

Jewel case CDs are available at pulverised.bigcartel.com.

"...prepare for a delectable feast of old school Death Metal that not only remains both catchy yet punishingly heavy throughout but also incorporates slower more methodical and sinister moments, darker and colder segments that border on Black Metal influence and the constant presence of a band who totally dominate their sound and style."
[10/10] - Destructive Music

"...obscured and rotten death metal with classic dark vibes." - Zombie Ritual Zine

Bangladesh Death / Thrashers ORATOR Sign To Pulverised Records

Pulverised Records is extremely proud to announce the profane communion of ORATOR, the Death / Thrash act hailing from the cremation grounds of Bangladesh!

Formed in 2008, ORATOR has so far released one 7" EP, a live demo tape and one full-length album, entitled Kapalgnosis. After the release of Kapalgnosis earlier this year Armée De La Mort Records, the band has decided to get straight work on the follow up.

The yet-to-be-titled second full-length will contain nothing but straight up old-school Death Thrashing Tandava in the vein of their debut. ORATOR plans to release the album by 2014. Behold the pulverized Aghoratical Deathrashing rage!

And as the band states: "We are presently working on new songs and we look forward to reveal them in our second album through Pulverised Records. More announcements on the upcoming album will follow in the course of time. ORATOR forms this mighty pact with Pulverised Records to bring their old-school Death Metal Aghori cult to a whole different level of existence both locally and internationally. The band therefore looks forward to a long and successful relation with the mighty Pulverised Records."

Pulverised Records A&R manager Calvin further commented: "This was totally unexpected. In all honesty, no one would have imagined in their wildest dreams that there is much of an extreme scene in Bangladesh. ORATOR basically decimated all forms of sensibility and logic that we knew (or lack thereof) in the Bangladeshi Metal scene and ripped our faces off with their debut Kapalgnosis! We can't seem to stop raving about ORATOR and convinced that ORATOR is easily on par with the Death / Thrash Metal legends and greats of our time. Those who have embraced the intensity and savagery of the early 90's Death Metal will instantly dig ORATOR!"

To hear the hateful death metal abomination that is ORATOR, check out the track "Gnosis Stained Khadga" at this location.

ORATOR is:
Mephistopheles Warmonger - Drums
Skullbearer - Guitars, primary aghorations and lyrics
Vritra Ahi - Bass and secondary aghorations

Worm Gear Zine Debuts New NECROCURSE Track

Extreme music journal Worm Gear Zine has posted an exclusive world premier of the song "The Devil Cobra" off  Grip of the Dead, the forthcoming debut full-length from Swedish morbid death metal rebels NECROCURSE.

The song, in all its hellish glory, has been posted at this location.

Grip Of The Dead will be out on March 11th in Europe and March 19th North America via Pulversied Records. The album contains eleven tracks of uncompromising and haunting Death Metal in the true spirit of the ancient dark Heavy Metal attitude. The vinyl version will include re-recorded version of the track "Souls Of A Thousand Funerals," from the Shape of Death MCD, as an additional bonus track. The vinyl version for Grip of the Dead will be a joint collaboration between Blood Harvest Records and To The Death Records.

"While Necrocurse does not reinvent the wheel with Grip of the Dead, the band certainly displays their affinity with the old school on the album with each of the tracks being extremely well-executed, and is an album that would please fans of old school Swedish death." - Heavy Metal Tribune

"Necrocurse's full-length debut Grip of the Dead is yet another entry into the cemetery sweeps, a compact, crushing revision of its more overt influences into something digestible to the nostalgia hunter who seeks a little gruesome authenticity in his death and black metal." - From the Dust Returned

"Such a vibrant union between blunt underground intensity and a traditional metal style of melody... this album shows that the 2 styles NEED each other and empower the songwriting spark with enough fuel to grow into something memorable and worthy of a wider appreciation." - Worm Gear Zine
