BURIAL VAULT Releases Official Video for "Awareness"

Northern German Melodic Death Metal band BURIAL VAULT has just released the official video for the song "Awareness." The song is taken from their most recent offering,  Incendium, a Ray Bradbury-inspired concept album which was released last year on Apostasy Records. The video combines a live-performance by the band with scenes that directly refer to the lyrics.

The follow up to the critically-acclaimed Ekpyrosis (Periodic Destruction), Incendium is a conceptual piece inspired by Ray Bradbury's "Fahrenheit 451." With this album, the band developed a concept that embodies a metamorphosis of a human in an inconvenient future both on musical as on textual level. 

This dynamic and diverse album reaches from acoustic passages to eruptions of Black Metal blast-beats and slow Death Metal attacks. Inendium was recorded at Soundlodge Studios by Jorg Uken (God Dethroned, Dew-Scented, Defeated Sanity) and features artwork from Ben Borucki, (Agathodaimon, Suicide Silence).

Burial Vault was founded in 2006. The musical direction can be described as Melodic Death Metal spiced with Black Metal, Thrash Metal and some progressive influences.The band refers to many different atmospheres and topics within their music. Abysses of humanity and history are the lyrical background of their tunes which have a great balance between brutal, melodic and atmospheric parts. Burial Vault has made appearances at "Legacyfest 2009" and "Metalfest Germany 2010" and has shared stages with the likes of Drone, Jack Slater, Lay Down Rotten, Cripper, Torture Squad and Sinister (o.a.). The wait is finally over!! The debut release from Eihwaz Recordings, the death metal sub-label of Bindrune Recordings is now available.

Memorious is utterly unique and bloated with atypical melodies/harmonies. The 2nd full-length from the Texas born Vex is an eye opener of an album with superior songwriting and a style so skillfully enveloped by the olden years of melodic death metal. Memorious first of all benefits from a super tight performance. Secondly, the riffs are downright inspired and colorized by what sound like effortlessly flowing melodies, but the way they are draped over the chord progressions, it feels so alive yet complex, like an easy moving river cutting through a dense woodland.

Originally released on CD by HPGD Productions, Eihwaz has given this excellent release the vinyl treatment for those of you out there addicted to the warm analog tones! The pressing is limited, so act fast!  This package is a 2LP black vinyl set containing an insert/lyric sheet housed in a heavy jacket (not gatefold) with a 5MM spine. The vinyl is cut at 45 RPM. SAPIENCY: North American Digital Release of 'Tomorrow' Coming November 26

German melodic death metal outfit SAPIENCY will see their sophomore effort, Tomorrow, distributed digitally in North America on November 26 via Eclipse Records. The album is currently available to the rest of the world through SAOL/Zebralution.

The highly-anticipated follow up to the band's acclaimed 2010 debut, Fate's End, Tomorrow was released on CD format in March on Saol Music.
