KORE ROZZIK recently released new single "Rockstar," which is now streaming at this location.  The song is the first from what will be become the Have a Taste EP, tentatively targeted for a late 2015/early 2016 release. Purchase "Rockstar" at CD Baby. And if you just can't get enough, then check out the band's performance of "Kill the Clown" from the July 21 "Rockstar" release show at NYC's Gramercy Theatre with the BULLET BOYS right HERE!

"Rockstar" was produced by Paul Bento (Carnivore/Type O Negative) and Mastered by Maor Appelbaum (Faith No More/Dokken). "Rock Star" is the first  song from what will become the Have a Taste EP, tentatively targeted for a late 2015/early 2016 release. The single will be available on iTunes, CD Baby, and other digital retailers.

"Rockstar" is the tale of the underdog musician who never backs down, plays for the fans, and knocks down the haters as he indulges in the benefits that come with the territory. Rozzik explains, "Our new single is a sing-a-long anti-hater upset-your-father summer-smash!"

Despite harsh commentary, personal demons and dramatic past band lineups, KORE ROZZIK has persevered. Kore adds, "All of the hate and jealousy has fueled me to be the front man I am today. We'll be showing off our most powerful performance the city has seen in a long time."

Vocalist/front man Kore grew up listening to and studying the likes of Alice Cooper Marilyn Manson and David Lee Roth.  "I got to see the heroes and villains of Rock N Roll do their thing and I'm somewhere in the middle," notes Kore.  KORE ROZZIK is the anti-hero, the underdog rock star, and gets to be those things depending on what story he is telling through the music.

"We definitely hit some kind of nerve. Some people just don't get it, but that's just makes us want to hit that nerve even harder. We strive for a reaction; good or bad."
- Kore Rozzik
