L.A. Thrashers ANGER AS ART Release Lyric Video for "Praise of the Firehead"

Los Angeles thrashers ANGER AS ART have released the second lyric video from upcoming Old School Metal Records album Ad Mortem Festinamus. Thrash 'em all with "Praise of the Firehead" at this location!

A lyric video for the song "Aim for the Heart" was released last month and is available for anger management here. Decibel also got in on the action with the exclusive premiere of "Tombward," which can be utilized for neighborhood destabilization at this location.  Bassist/vocalist Eric Bryan (ex-Necroscope), who appeared in critically acclaimed film Metal: A Headbangers Journey, wrote (and sings on) "Tombward."

You may read a number of bios where bands will extol their virtues of being the next big thing, as important as Led Zeppelin, inventor of the wheel. ANGER AS ART doesn't do that.  They don't need to.

Bassist Eric Bryan Joins L.A. Thrashers ANGER AS ART

Eric Bryan, known for his bass and vocal work with California's Necroscope,  and Abstract Prayer, and perhaps more famously as the 'metal fan/bass player  with the cool posters and figurines' in the Sam Dunn documentary film  "Metal: A Headbanger's Journey," has joined the ranks of ANGER AS ART  in time for the band's US tour dates through 2013 and 2014. Says founding member Steve Gaines: "We have known Eric since  Anger As Art supported Overkill back in 2005. He gave a very in depth  critique of our debut album, one that let me know he listened closely.  We did radio and print interviews with him... I joined his band onstage...  only later did I realize he was the same guy from the movie.   Just a good guy, and an old soul. ANGER AS ART to Headline Puerto Rico Show for Rock Spot Plus TV; Special ABATTOIR Set Planned

Thrashers ANGER AS ART will be headlining a festival-style show in San Juan, Puerto Rico on December 15th that will be broadcast on TV show Rock Spot Plus. The gig will be recorded/videotaped for possible future release by ANGER AS ART. In addition to performing ANGER AS ART material the band will close out the performance with a short set of ABATTOIR songs.
