Metal Blade Records is excited to announcing the signing of Australian thrash metal act, HARLOTT! Forged in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia, HARLOTT are the finest example of the thrash metal genre in recent years. Taking their influence from the 80's Bay Area thrash scene, and blending it with the Teutonic melody and grit, they focus on high energy, up tempo music with lyrical influence from war, religion, chaos, and the human condition. Unrivaled live concerts, an aggressive recognizable sound, clinical musicianship, and a classic 'Aussie' sense of humour have earned HARLOTT a strong and dedicated fan base, which continues to grow day to day.

HARLOTT's debut release 'Origin' blew audiences away with its unrelenting speed, ferocious sound, and hook driven riffs, and did much to solidify HARLOTT as an up and coming force to be reckoned with. The four piece thrash outfit followed with a national tour, a string of Australian Heavy Metal Festival performances and a handful of support positions, including Germany's Accept and Megadeth's very own Dave Ellefson.

Their follow up release 'Proliferation' only proves that the band means business, and could not only match their own fury, but even surpass it.

KING LEVIATHAN Release "The Shrine"

KING LEVIATHAN of Brighton England, devout worshipers of Speed, Violence and The Occult, have spread madness from their inception. With their new EP "The Shrine" about to hit May 31st there is no sign of stopping. With "The Shrine", every second of speed, aggression, and riotous fun is to be savored. KING LEVIATHAN liberally blends many different styles of Metal and Hardcore into an intense, fiery stew. Riffs with roots firmly planted in the great American Thrash and European Metal traditions peel out of every single song, bolstered by a rhythm section, and featuring solid drumming, that is relentless.The frenetic pace so characteristic of the genre is kept the entire way, the delivery tight, yet not without the feeling of spontaneity. Creating images of the house that you and your beer-bong buddies proceeded to trash when the neighbor kid's parents left for the weekend. 

The follow-up to their self-titled 2014 debut, this new 5 track offering "THE SHRINE" is a marked step forward for the four piece and was recorded over a week long period at Brighton Electric with Producer Paul "Win" Winstanley at the helm.

DARK DESIGN: North Carolina Thrashers Unleashing Debut Via Heaven and Hell Records

Prey for the Future, the debut album from Raleigh, NC technical power thrashers DARK DESIGN will be released this September through Heaven and Hell Records. 

Since early 2010, DARK DESIGN, comprised of members Ray Lewis (guitar), Mike Joyner (guitar), Andrew Bertrand (vocals), and rhythm section Matt (bass) and Robbie Mercer (drums), have built a strong fan base in their local metal scene. Their technical prowess and progressive song structuring have often been compared to that of Death, Toxik, and Anacrusis. As buzz of the band began to grow they were requested to play the 2012 Warriors of Metal Festival in Ohio. Meanwhile, the band remained focused on material for their debut album. Prey for the Future was recorded earlier this year by John E Wooten (Widow U.S) and mastered by Jamie King at The Basement Studios.

ANGER AS ART to Release Hubris Inc. on Old School Metal Records February 5th; New Song Streaming

Ironclad Thrash Metallers ANGER AS ART have announced that new album Hubris Inc. will be released on February 5 , 2013 via Old School Metal Records. ANGER OF ART founder and Veteran of the Metal Wars Steve Gaines (Abattoir, Bloodlust, Tactics, Bitch, Dreams of Damnation, Pagan War Machine) states that the band's fourth album, which follows the well-received Disfigure, offers the kind of vicious, memorably penned thrash/speed metal that fans have come to expect without simply retracing the steps taken on previous albums.   

  

Adding to the album's immense appeal is a range of special guest appearances. "Rage and Retribution" features Betsy Bitch on vocals, Jim Durkin (Dark Angel) on lead guitar and Timothy Gaines (Stryper) on bass. Steve Nelson (Evil Dead) contributes backing vocals on "The Evil You Create." And last but certainly not least, "Speed Kills," which features Mark Caro (Abattoir) on lead guitar, was actually written for Abattoir back in 1984 and is performed by all Abattoir members. It's the last opportunity to ever hear a new Abattoir song!
