DESERTED FEAR Recording New Album

German death maniacs DESERTED FEAR have entered Thuringian Eisensound Studio in Eisenberg, Germany to begin work on their new, as-of-yet untitled album.  

The band comments: "It´s getting loud again in Eisensound studio! After over two years of abstinence from the studio, that we spent with playing a lot of great live shows, we are now returning to record a new record. The new album will once again contain nine neck-breaking death metal songs as well as a cool guest feature, which we will announce later. The drums are nailed down already and now we will do the guitars. Stay tuned people, we are really looking forward to present this to you!"

AMON: "Liar in Wait" Vinyl Edition Coming Next Month on FDA Rekotz

FDA Rekotz has announced the vinyl publication of Liar in Wait, the 2012 full-length from Floridian death metal beast AMON.   

AMON formed in 1987 in Tampa, Florida, before changing their name to DEICIDE and pioneering the American death metal movement. After their highly-publicized departure from DEICIDE, brothers Eric and Brian Hoffman resurrected AMON to spread the unholy plague all over the world.  

Liar In Wait contains nine bone-crushing songs, recorded at Red Room Recorders with Mark Prator and will be released in Europe with an new and exclusive artwork, created by Misanthropic Artwork, with the layout done by ArtWars Mediadesign. German grindcore artists GOREGAST are set to release Covered in Skin, a 7-inch vinyl EP featuring two newly recorded songs, on September 27th via FDA Rekotz. 

The band's first recorded output since 2011's Desechos Humanos, the tunes featured on Covered in Skin will serve as a taste of things to come when GOREGAST releases their fourth full-length album in the spring of 2014. Expect some of the most rancid, dark, intense and catchy classic death metal set to tape with Covered in Skin. The EP was mixed and mastered by Andreas Hilbert (Golem) with cover artwork by Dedy (Badic Art).

MASTER Signs With FDA Rekotz; New Album Due In September

Death metal pioneers MASTER have inked a deal with German extreme music label FDA Rekotz for the band's landmark 12th full-length album, which is scheduled for a late September release.   

MASTER's legendary founder and frontman, Paul Speckmann, commented, "We are proud to be working with Rico and FDA and look forward to a solid future together.Watch for the next masterpiece to be unleashed on September 27th, 2013."

After releasing The New Elite last year to widespread critical acclaim, Speckmann and MASTER waged war on false metal across the world with an ambitious string of dates that saw the band ravage audiences across Europe and North America.  

As the saying goes, there is no rest for the wicked, and MASTER is back in action for the True Underground Warriors Tour with ENTRAPMENT, bookended by select European festival dates. More details on MASTER's upcoming FDA Rekotz debut to come.
