MURASHITA Streams Title Track from "Inescapable Damnation"
MURASHITA, the new project masterminded by renowned guitarist, producer and engineer Masaki Murashita, has partnered with No Clean Singing for the exclusive premiere "Inescapable Damnation." The title track off the band's upcoming debut EP features contributions from MEGADETH bassist Dave Ellefson and drum guru Kevin Talley.

Masaki Murashita first showed his scorching riffs and powerful songwriting, along with his blistering and aggressive vocal style with the critically acclaimed modern thrash band Hemoptysis in 2007 and he has been clawing his way to the top ever since. Combining elements of melody, thrash and modern extreme metal, Masaki has molded his own razor sharp brand of metal that is moving into the next stage of metal evolution.
MURASHITA is now releasing the debut solo EP, Inescapable Damnation, which features some of the top players in metal - including David Ellefson (Megadeth), Kevin Talley (Suffocation, Six Feet Under, Chimaira), Kelly Conlon (Death, Monstrosity), Rodney McGlothlin (Voice of Dissent) - and mixing by award-winning producer, Ryan Greene (Megadeth, NOFX).

DARKOLOGY Unveil 'Fated To Burn' Album Details, Lyric Video Streaming
US heavy metallers DARKOLOGY will release their sophomore album, 'Fated To Burn' between the 8th and the 15th of June 2015, through Prime Eon Media and it's partners worldwide, on CD and digital formats. Multiple special package configurations will be made exclusively available through the band's web store and a vinyl release may follow later in the year. The album artwork and the new lyric video for the song 'On Morrow's Break' can be viewed below.
DARKOLOGY features in it's ranks the amazing Harris brothers, Michael (Thought Chamber, Arch Rival, Leather, Chastain) on guitars and Brian (Firewind, Solstice (US), My own Victim, etc.) on drums respectively. On vocals Kelly Sundown Carpenter (Beyond Twilight , Outworld, Epysode and former touring vocalist for Firewind), returns with some OUT OF THIS WORLD performances. Last but not least the extremely talented bassist Mike Neal (Medieval Steel, Salems Lot, etc.) lays down some solid grooves and has even co-written about half of the songs on this album, as well as most of the lyrics, making this a great, highly collaborative, team effort.

DARKOLOGY did make quite an impression in 2009, when they released their debut album, ‘Altered Reflections‘ which received tons of praise around the globe and sold, in very healthy qualities. The band did not give up in their effort to make their music more appealing and a couple of years later begun composing what would end up formulating their sophomore release.
The band recently concluded a highly successful tour in 2014 with Overkill, Prong and Enforcer with all reviews that have poured in, being extremely flattering.

Job for a Cowboy debut "The Celestial Antidote" on Metal Injection!
Job for a Cowboy have loosed a third cut from their upcoming "Sun Eater" album. "The Celestial Antidote" is #6 in the sequence of nine songs that, front to back, comprise one of the finest technical death metal albums in recent memory. Guitarist Al Glassman discusses the song's significance: "Bobby Thompson, who left us as a full time member in 2010, continues to remain a part of Job for a Cowboy always, and once again contributed an incredible track to the new record. For those who have heard "Tarnished Gluttony" (his contribution to the last record), you will not be disappointed with his latest song. It's moody and heavy as hell, and features some of my favorite guitar work on the record on Tony's end. After years of writing with Bobby, I can honestly say that this is his best work yet with JFAC and I hope you guys dig it too!"
Producer Jason Suecof, vocalist Jonny Davy, guitarists Al Glassman and Tony Sannicandro, bassist Nick Schendzielos, and session drummer Danny Walker have crafted a cerebral and accomplished piece of technical death metal. Job for a Cowboy wrapped up touring in 2013 as part of the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival that summer. Following that performance, the band collectively decided to sharpen their focus and set an intent on cooking up a record that encompassed their full dynamic range of talent. The group had all agreed on the main course being a desire for futuristic tones, a wider spectrum of textures and tempos, and an emphasis on slightly more ancestral song construction. The result, "Sun Eater," does not just sound like a new record, it sounds like an entirely new band.

Audiohammer producer Jason Suecof, whose first bout with the band was 2009's "Ruination," has now worked with the band for over six years. Few are more familiar with how Job for a Cowboy operates in the studio than Suecof, and he was also feeling the "vibe" on "Sun Eater": "This band is composed entirely of top notch musicians all the way around and they are clearly at the top of their game. Vesania debuts new song "Dismay" via Revolver Magazine!
Poland's Vesania have released a new song from their forthcoming album, "Deus Ex Machina." The track, "Dismay," is streaming now on RevolverMag.com HERE. The Polish symphonic black metal act that features current and former members of Behemoth, Dimmu Borgir, Vader, and Decapitated, have been releasing albums and touring in Europe for over a decade. The band's fourth full-length album, and first since 2007, is scheduled for release on October 28, 2014 via Metal Blade Records.
Orion comments on "Dismay": "I often hear the opinion, and I agree with it - this album has no "single," each track is different, has its own atmosphere and is equally important for the overall impression. "Dismay" is the song we started the recordings with, and this is the one that best defines the 'rock' sound of "Deus Ex Machina." "Dismay" is relatively slower, sounds progressive, rather than black metal, and it adds a breath of air between the more intense songs. This is also the particular track, where the "god from the machine" from the album title is mentioned and comes down to earth."

Vesania's roots are firmly planted in Poland, but their reach has been expanding throughout the years across the globe. The collective experience of the members of the band speaks volumes of their knowledge and ability to craft world class albums.
There's no singular unifying lyrical concept on "Deus Ex Machina", but there's a main theme, a coherent and deliberate thread running from the title through the music. The title of the album is a term from ancient Greek tragedy and translates to "god from the machine". The idea for the concept was that a machine, typically a rudimentary crane, would lower a thespian playing god onto the stage to solve the seemingly unsolvable conflict in the plot. In modern entertainment, the term has evolved to primarily refer to a cheap solution in a poorly written script or novel. Alternatively, Vesania's "Deus Ex Machina" is a call for any kind of help or intervention because all of the lyrics on the album are hopeless and show characters in situations that leaves them powerless. One of the tracks tells the story of the lowering of an actor, supposedly the god, onto a stage before a corrupted man searching for answers. Instead, that actor is lowered by a noose around their neck, having already died. The lyrics paint a drab picture, particularly when paired with equally bleak music. Recording was completed at Sound Division Studio, with mastering by Scott Hull at Visceralsound Studios.

TRENCHROT Post Title Track from "Necronomic Warfare"
Death metal war machine TrenchRot have posted the title track off their forthcoming debut, Necronomic Warfare. Clocking in at over seven minutes, the song is merely a sampling of the devastation to come when Necronmic Warfare is unleashed upon the world.

With influences ranging from other war-themed bands like Asphyx and Bolt Thrower, to the vomitous vocals and epic, soaring lead work of Obituary's Cause of Death, this is an old school death metal album that doesn't feel self-conscious about being what it is. It just crushes everything in its path, and leaves the bloodied listener staggering away... and grinning ear to ear. Members are in other promising new bands, such as Crypt Sermon - whose first demo will see a cassette release from Dark Descent Records soon - and Infiltrator, and promise to soon be well-known names in the underground.

TýR will be streaming their brand new album, "Valkyrja," exclusively via metalblade.com/tyr all weekend! The album can be heard in its entirety beginning on Friday, September 13th, through Monday, September 16th. Fans: this is your chance to hear previously unreleased tracks, including "The Lay of Our Love," which features Leaves' Eyes vocalist Liv Kristine. Plus, TýR's covers of Iron Maiden's "Where Eagles Dare" and Pantera's "Cemetary Gate," which about.com called "downright amazing, faithfully capturing the emotional essence of the original." Additionally, George Kollias was enlisted to handle drum recording duties on "Valkyrja." In terms of what the band hopes fans take away from the album, bassist Gunnar H. Thomsen states "I hope they will enjoy it and they like the new direction as well as (guitarist) Terji's bigger involvement in writing and George's drumming. We had a more upbeat direction without changing TÝR's style."
TýR performed live on August 10th as part of the Faroe Island's Summarfestivalurin in Klaksvik. Over 8,000 Faroese were in attendance as the band put on a huge set featuring old favorites, as well as new tracks, including "Blood of Heroes." The event was filmed and a video for "Blood of Heroes" can be seen now at metalblade.com/tyr.

Valkyrja is a concept album with a story line based loosely around a nameless Viking age warrior who leaves his woman and goes off to impress the Valkyrie on the battlefield so that she may bring him to Valhalla, or to Fólkvangr, the home of Freyja—the goddess associated with love, sexuality, beauty, fertility, gold, sorcery, war, and death. One can say the album is also indirectly about women and how they affect men and what men will do to impress and obtain women. TÝR release new single, "Mare Of My Night," on MetalInsider.net
Valkyrja, the seventh full-length album from the Faroe Islands natives, TÝR, will be released on September 17th in North America, and September 13th/16th in Europe/UK. After having unveiled the opening track on the album, the band has launched the second track, "Mare of My Night," on MetalInsider.net. Stream the song new HERE.
Vocalist/guitarist Heri Joenson comments: "Mare Of My Night was by far the most difficult song on the album to write, music wise. What I usually do is work on a basic idea, a melody with a chord progression. I make variations over the basic idea and then I pick out the best variations for the respective parts of the song, verse, chorus etc. For this one I had more variations than ever before and I made more versions of this song that I've ever done before, so it was very difficult to choose. I'm still not sure I made the best possible song, which is not a satisfying feeling at all. But there you have it.
As for the text, once I went to work on it, it was written in a day or two, in the evenings during studio time. I had the title and the story line long in advance. It's based on the mare from folklore, the human-like creature that lies on top of you, riding you, causing bad dreams. As in nightmare, riding like a mare etc. Our anonymous viking, the protagonist of the story, finds in this song that his earthly woman has gone from being a goddess to being nightmare. It is also the most sexually explicit piece of lyric I have written so far."
For Valkyrja, TýR collaborated with Jacob Hansen at Hansen Studios in Ribe, Denmark. Along with Hansen, the band recruited acclaimed drummer George Kollias to act as studio drummer and Leaves' Eyes vocalist Liv Kristine joined vocalist/guitarist Heri Joensen for a vocal duet on "The Lay of Our Love."
