Italian Punk Rockin' Speed Metallers OVERCHARGE will release Accelerate  on September 30 via Unspeakable Axe Records.  

OVERCHARAGE is in fact punk rock, rock 'n roll, and speed metal rolled up into one.  The Italians sound like a drunken fistfight between MOTORHEAD and Kill 'em All-era METALLICA, if everyone involved was gargling broken glass and DISCHARAGE was playing on the jukebox.  It's nothing less than adrenaline-fueled, mohawked mayhem!

Unspeakable Axe Records to Release ALGEBRA's "Feed the Ego" Sept. 16

Unspeakable Axe Records has announced the September 16 release of Feed the Ego, from Swiss thrashers ALGEBRA. 

ALGEBRA is superficially an unusual moniker for a thrash band, calling to mind mathematical precision and maybe pencil-snapping frustration rather than the blitzkrieg attack of Slayer, et al. But as one absorbs Swiss thrash machine ALGEBRA's music, the name makes increasingly more sense. Both the math and the anger are here - the former in the unreasonably tight playing, complex riffs and spiraling lead work; and the latter in the lyrics, which tackle all manner of modern-day frustrations.

Take for example the opening track "Survival Nowadays." Over a pummeling riff assault reminiscent of Sepultura, Testament, Coroner and more, the gruff vocalist barks about what life in 2014 has done to humankind. And it's not a pretty picture. We are soft, we are lazy, we are complacent. The song is criticism honed to a knife's edge. It would be hard to swallow if it didn't sound so damn good.

ALGEBRA's debut album was self-released in 2012 and reissued by Stormspell Records afterward. Now they will follow that up with their sophomore effort. Feed The Ego satiates thrash-hungry listeners with nine aggressively complicated calculations, all mixed and mastered by Andy Classen. Unspeakable Axe Records will release this album on September 16, 2014.

ZOLDIER NOIZ: "Regression Process" Coming May 27 via Unspeakable Axe Records

Outlaw thrash extremists ZOLDIER NOIZ will release their second full-length, Regression Process, on May 27 through Unspeakable Axe Records, with distribution from Dark Descent Records. 

Their name evokes warfare, loud sounds, and primitivism, which are all good things to have in mind when preparing for the onslaught of French thrashers ZOLDIER NOIZ.  A ferocious blend of Motorhead, earliest Voivod, crust punk, death metal and more, ZOLDIER NOIZ have been around for over a decade now, churning out demos as well as a previous studio album Schizoid Reject. That effort landed them a coveted spot as Fenriz's Band of the Week back in 2010.  Now they are back to follow that up with their second album Regression Process.

The art is stark and evocative of punk and grindcore with its cut-and-paste aesthetics and overtones of social commentary.  There's definitely a strong punk vibe to the music as well, but at its core, Regression Process is metal in one of its earliest and most molten forms - speed metal blurring over into death; thrash without the technical window dressing.  Songs are vicious and to the point, and the rough and raw vocals suggest Lemmy if he tried to fill in at the mic for Bolt Thrower.

Italian death/thrashers OMNIVORE have unleashed their self-titled debut album through Unspeakable Axe Records. This blood-soaked slab of old-school thrash aggression is now available at www.unspeakableaxerecords.com.

Death metal war machine TrenchRot have posted the title track off their forthcoming debut, Necronomic Warfare. Clocking in at over seven minutes, the song is merely a sampling of the devastation to come when Necronmic Warfare is unleashed upon the world.

MORGENGRAU Signs with Unspeakable Axe Records

Unspeakable Axe Records will join forces with Austin death metal outfit  MORGENGRAU next year for their second, currently untitled full-length  album.  MORGENGRAU formed in 2010 and self-released their debut,  Extrinsic Pathway, earlier this year. The album has received great reviews  for its vicious death metal blending European and American influences from  classic '90s bands, including Morbid Angel, Slayer, Pestilence, Asphyx,  with original songwriting and a voice purely the band's own.  MORGENGRAU has been entirely self-distributed and self-promoted  thus far; entering into the Unspeakable Axe/Dark Descent Records fold,  they are now poised to inflict vastly greater damage worldwide. Unspeakable Axe Records Announce July 9th Reissue of Besieged's Victims Beyond All Help

Unspeakable Axe Records have set July 9th as the date on which Victims Beyond All Help from Winnipeg, Manitoba thrashers BESIEGED will be reissued worldwide. BESIEGED have been terrorizing music listeners in their hometown of Winnipeg for some time, putting out a demo (Visions of Pain) in 2004 and then releasing their debut in 2010. Their sound is lightning-fast death-tinged thrash metal, indebted to the old gods of the scene while also bringing in new influences and ideas. No jokey lyrics, no phony retro affectations, just pure bludgeoning for fans of SEPULTURA's Beneath the Remains, SLAYER's Reign in Blood, DARK ANGEL's Darkness Descends, and other uncompromising, furious albums that pushed the genre to its limits. Victims Beyond All Help was self-released by the band in 2010 and limited to just 300 copies on pro CD-R; now it will be officially reissued with an upgraded layout. This reissue will use the same completely old school artwork painted by the legendary Ed Repka. This will be the second release by Unspeakable Axe, the new sub-label of Dark Descent Records.
