Episode 374 - Havok

Century Media artists Havok have been bringing the thrash since 2004. You would think that after all this time that spellcheck would not try to correct the band name but apparently technology can’t keep up with the relentless assault of these thrashers.

Richie spent a bit of time on the bus with the band when they had a tour stop in Worcester. He was able to talk with the whole band and that’s what we have in store for ya this week.

SAVAGE MESSIAH KICK OFF EUROPEAN TOUR WITH HAVOK TONIGHT

SAVAGE MESSIAH are due to kick off a European tour tonight - Saturday, November 23rd - with US thrashers HAVOK.

The tour starts in Edegem, Belgium, and runs through until the last show on December 15th in Berlin, Germany.  Also joining SAVAGE MESSIAH and HAVOK are ANGELUS APATRIDA.  SAVAGE MESSIAH will then be playing a number of headlining UK shows in early 2014 in support of their new album, which is due to be released on January 20th.

SAVAGE MESSIAH RESCHEDULE UK MINI TOUR

SAVAGE MESSIAH have rescheduled dates for their mini UK headlining tour, which was originally scheduled to kick off on October 29th.

The shows have now been moved to February/March, following the release of the band's new album, which is due to hit stores on January 20th, 2014.  SAVAGE MESSIAH will still be heading out on a full European tour with US thrashers HAVOK in November, which includes a number of shows in the UK.

SAVAGE MESSIAH frontman DAVE SILVER comments:

"Our headline shows have been moved back to next year in order to coincide with the release of our new record.  We're sorry to disappoint anyone who was looking forward to seeing us, but due to our extensive schedule leading up to the new year it was decided by all involved that our headline shows would be better situated once the new album is out.  Come out and see us on the Havok tour, and then once the new record is out the headline shows will be all the better as we can't wait to hit you with these new songs!!"

SAVAGE MESSIAH COMPLETE RECORDING NEW ALBUM

SAVAGE MESSIAH have completed recording their as-yet untitled new album, which is due to be released in early 2014.

The follow-up to 2012's PLAGUE OF CONSCIENCE was recorded at Grindstone Studios in Suffolk, England with producer SCOTT ATKINS (AMON AMARTH, SYLOSIS, BEHEMOTH), who also worked on the band's last two albums.

SAVAGE MESSIAH frontman DAVE SILVER comments:

"Finally, after almost seven weeks of brutal hard work, we can proudly say that our third album is complete!  Every note has been played, every lyric sung and now we await the finished mixes from producer Scott Atkins.  We've had a lot of laughs making this record, and despite it being a labour-intensive effort, we had no major disruptions and the whole experience has been really enjoyable.  We're genuinely excited to get this album out into the world and start the promotion!  We look forward to releasing more details over the coming months as well as the various touring activities we have planned!  See ya on the road!"

SAVAGE MESSIAH will be playing a select number of UK headlining shows this October, before heading out on a European tour with US thrashers HAVOK in November.

SAVAGE MESSIAH ANNOUNCE EUROPEAN TOUR WITH HAVOK

SAVAGE MESSIAH have announced a European tour with US thrashers HAVOK.

The "Unnatural Selection" European tour is due to kick off on November 23rd in Edegem, Belgium, shortly after SAVAGE MESSIAH's headlining UK mini tour.  The European trek also features support from ANGELUS APATRIDA.

SAVAGE MESSIAH guitarist JOFF BAILEY comments:

"We're really excited to announce the news that we'll be hitting the road across Europe this November/December with Havok!  We really can't wait to hit European shores again and tear it up with all the Savages over there!  We've been shut away in the studio all summer working on the new record (which is sounding absolutely brutal by the way!) so when they finally let us loose for our headline tour in October and now across Europe a couple of weeks later with Havok, well, needless to say, we'll burst out fuckin' swinging!  I may even put in place a strict diet of Maiden, Metallica and Rocky montage scenes to fire us up even more!  See you on the road!  STAY SAVAGE!!"
