Yep I know we're a day early. Consider this a rare Tuesday release.

So yes leather is one the most metal of fabrics (along with denim) but it’s also Leather Leone, one of FoMs most frequent guests. Once again this week we welcome Leather to the show and this time its to talk about her second solo release “II”. We’ve only been waiting 29 years for another solo release from her but Leather has delivered the goods. 

Also this week we indulge in a bit of music discovery so besides the great tracks from leather we also has selections from Trillium, Lizzy Borden, Lords of Black and Sunstorm.

Lizzy Borden to headline an open to the public Epiphone party at the NAMM Show

Lizzy Borden will headline the Epiphone party for the NAMM Show, Friday January 24th 2014 at the Tiki bar in Costa Mesa (about 15 min away from the convention center). You do not need to be part of the NAMM show to get tickets. This will reunite the "Appointment with Death" line up (Joey Scott, Marten Andersson, Ira Black and Lizzy) for a one night only performance. Be sure to catch this exclusive one-off show. It's our first show together in 5 years, we go on at 11:35pm for a full headlining set. There will also be Epiphone giveaways and other fun stuff. WHITE WIZZARD CONFIRM WEST HOLLYWOOD SHOW WITH LIZZY BORDEN

Los Angeles heavy metallers WHITE WIZZARD have confirmed a show in West Hollywood with veterans LIZZY BORDEN.

WHITE WIZZARD - who are currently recording their new studio album, THE DEVIL'S CUT - will be supporting LIZZY BORDEN at the world famous Whisky A Go Go on the Sunset Strip on April 13th.

WHITE WIZZARD bassist and main man JON LEON comments:

"We are happy to announce White Wizzard will be playing direct support to the classic and amazing band Lizzy Borden at the Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood, April 13.  We go on at 11pm sharp.  If you are in LA make sure you buy tickets.  It's going to be an amazing show!!!"

THE DEVIL'S CUT is being recorded with producer RALPH PATLAN (MEGADETH, UFO, MICHAEL SCHENKER) at Phase Four Studios in Tempe, Arizona.  The album is the band's third full-length release, and their first to feature vocalist JOSEPH MICHAEL.  The album is due to be released later this year on Earache Records in Europe and via Century Media/Earache Records in the USA.
