The release date of the CHASTAIN album „We Bleed Metal“ on limited vinyl is March 25th, 2016.  The pre-order phase will start on March 11th, 2016 in our webshop. By mentioning the name CHASTAIN, Metal maniacs and lovers of female-fronted Metal bands fall into endless rapture. Active since 1985, the band featuring legendary vocalist Leather Leone and guitarist David T. AXE CRAZY "Angry Machines" – Limited Vinyl Edition - release date: February 26th

The release date of the AXE CRAZY album „Angry Machines“ on limited vinyl is February 26th, 2016. The pre-order phase will start on February 12th, 2016 in the webshop. Limited to 200 vinyl copies Pure Steel will re-release the AXE CRAZY debut EP „Angry Machines“ (2014) through Pure Underground Records. Like the name – borrowed by the self titled single of Jaguar from 1982 – already suggests, the quintet from Poland has committed themselves to the spirit of the glorious, early days of NWoBHM. On four songs, they enlarge the Metal underground with majestic twin guitar leads, rapid, but tight doublebass drumming and melodic, powerful high pitched vocals. References like the eponyms, early Maiden stuff and a decent dose of early US Metal always can be perceived. But still, AXE CRAZY sent up an adolescent briskness, that can’t be found very often nowadays. The Power Metal Band GHOST MACHINERY  from  Finland signed a worldwide deal with PURE LEGEND RECORDS, a sub label of PURE STEEL RECORDS. The band was founded 2002 and has released 2 albums. FORMER MANOWAR GUITARIST, DAVID SHANKLE, RETURNS WITH DSG + NEW ALBUM

Known for being a member of MANOWAR between 1988 and 1994, DAVID SHANKLE remains a world renowned super shred guitarist and instructor for all true metal fans - as heard by the upcoming third full-length offering by his band, DSG, titled 'STILL A WARRIOR.’ To be released on April 24th in Germany and April 28th worldwide via Pure Steel Records, the ten-track album is sure to please long-time fans of the fleet-fingered talents of Shankle.

"I'm very happy to say that I feel this is the best DSG record to date," says Shankle. "I also feel this is the best DSG band out of all three of them so far. I'm very proud of everyone of these guys great job they did on the record." Joining Shankle in DSG are vocalist Warren Halvarson, bassist Mike Streicher, and drummer Gabriel Anthony.
