DEATH DEALER GETS IN THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT WITH "WE THREE KINGS" + FREE DOWNLOAD

Death Dealer are out to prove that heavy metal and the holidays can indeed merrily coexist, with a cover of the old-time Christmas carol, "We Three Kings." A video has been filmed for the song (which is a "stand-alone track," as it does not appear on the group's latest album, 'Hallowed Ground'), made by noted European filmmakers Village Road Film.

Death Dealer's guitarist, Stu Marshall, was responsible for orchestration and producing the song, while the tune showcases the strength and pure magic of vocalist Sean Peck. The video also expresses the band's wishes for peace on earth especially in light of world activities lately.

Sean Peck said, "Christmas is a very important and meaningful time for me. I have always loved singing the songs that go with the holiday season since I was a kid. If I was not in a band, I would probably be dressed up in a full-on caroling costume, and be going house to house, singing in a group to strangers in the neighborhood. This killer video and song is the next best thing!"

According to a press release, Menza and LoMenzo recnetley announced a working musical relationship that will lead into a full working, writing, recording and touring band at some point.

Their first encounter / jam session took place on June 25th at Menza's Disintegrator Studios in Studio City, CA where they cracked through some of the old Megadeth catalog along with some of their favorite Metallica and Zeppelin songs.

Nick Menza exclusively told BWBK: James is a top-notch player with a killer sound and I'm totally pumped and looking forward to creating some heavy original material with him once we officially solidified the rest of the line up. he ads, things are still in the developing stages soon as James fulfills his touring obligations with John Fogerty we will sink our teeth into this project. right now we are having some fun and collaborating with other players from around the world via the internet to see what's out there, nothing is set in stone...

James LoMenzo: I've been a fan of Nick's drumming for a long time. Nick is a great guy and he's one of Metal's stand out drummers. It's an honor and a privilege to be making music with him and I look forward to what we'll create.

Menza joined MEGADETH for the 1990 recording "Rust In Peace" and for the next ten years became associated with the band's "classic" and most profitable era.

Following the reissue of the entire MEGADETH catalog, Menza was invited to reunite with the band in 2004. Days after a reunion was announced, Menza was fired after rehearsals and replaced with Shawn Drover. Mustaine said that this was because Nick "just wasn't prepared.

LoMenzo joined MEGADETH in 2006, toured and performed on two of the groups studio albums, 2007 "United Abominations", 2009 "Endgame"  it was then announced in 2010 that original MEGADETH bassist Dave Ellefson would replace LoMenzo.

On the Spring Equinox of 2009, the man known as Sleepwalker released A TRANSYLVANIAN FUNERAL's self-titled debut under his own label imprint, at the time sharing the name of his recording studio, Third Eye Audio. The Summer Solstice of 2010 saw the release of The Outsider, a dark and moody concept album loosely based around the Lovecraft story of the same name, released under the newly re-named label, Forbidden Records. Now that the Spring Equinox draws close again, the third full-length from this one-man cult will be made available.

A step in a new direction for A TRANSYLVANIAN FUNERAL, Gorgos Goetia is a staggering 72 minutes of raw and unbridled black metal magick, with no drum machines, no keyboards and minimal production values to retain the creative and improvisational style of the album. Gone are the meticulously crafted layers of guitar harmonies, replaced with primitive barre chords and haunting arpeggios. Blasting robot drum machines are cast aside as Sleepwalker's abuse of live drum dynamics dominate the recordings. The attitude is unflinching, the music unforgiving and the energy undeniably present like never before on Gorgos Goetia. Sleepwalker continues to work alone as A TRANSYLVANIAN FUNERAL, handling all the writing, recording and production of the album exclusively.
